Gravidity and Parity – GTPAL

G- Gravida= number of total pregnancies
T- Term= term deliveries
P- Preterm= preterm deliveries (before 37 weeks)
A- Abortions= abortions (both surgical abortions and miscarriages before 20 weeks)
L- Living= living children

Nagele’s Rule for estimating the date of delivery

The rule estimates the expected date of delivery (EDD) by adding one year, subtracting three months, and adding seven days to the first day of a woman’s last menstrual period (LMP).
